How do clear aligners (Invisalign) work?

Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, near-invisible aligners that gradually move your teeth into position. You move to the next set roughly every one to two weeks as directed by your dentist.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment length depends on the complexity of your case, commonly ranging from a few months to around eighteen months. A consultation will give you a personalised estimate.

Are clear aligners painful?

Some pressure or mild discomfort for a day or two is normal when you start a new set of aligners. This is a sign the aligners are working and usually settles quickly.

Can I eat and drink with aligners in?

Aligners should be removed for eating and for drinking anything other than water, then cleaned and replaced. For best results they should be worn around 20 to 22 hours a day.
